A special opportunity fostered a big band palette for Bud as he was invited to lead a big band on May 28, 2005 at the Los Angeles Jazz Institute’s four-day celebration of the Stan Kenton’s LA Neophonic Orchestra 40th Anniversary. Fortunately for all of us, Graham Carter, producer and owner of Jazz Media, seized the occasion to record “LIVE” the band’s spirited music.
